Welcome to Eczema Group Hug program
What we do
Caring for a child with eczema can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. As a parent or guardian of a child with eczema, you understand firsthand the impact this condition has on every aspect of your family’s life. From moisturizing and bathing routines to medications and managing flare-ups, you are constantly juggling numerous tasks while also dealing with sleepless nights and exhaustion. Balancing these responsibilities with your job and other family obligations can feel overwhelming.
Finding qualified help to care for your child can be equally challenging. Managing eczema requires a deep understanding of the condition, making it difficult to find someone you can fully trust. This is where the Eczema Group Hug program can assist you. Our goal is to connect parents with experienced babysitters or nannies who have a good understanding of eczema. We carefully match them to your family based on your location, unique needs, and specific requirements.

Our Story
Since you are stopping by, chances are that your daughter or son is fighting a beast named eczema.
I was in the same boat just a few years ago. My name is Lea Stancavich, and for the first few years of her life, my daughter Daniela also lived with this condition. Read our full story here.
Thankfully, Daniela has healed completely. However, I will never forget the sleepless nights with her waking up every couple of hours and long days trying to curb her scratching. Remembering how much eczema affects every aspect of family life, I created Eczema Group Hug, an online matching service connecting families to babysitters with training in eczema care.
We are here to embrace and support your family in your eczema journey.
I am immensely grateful to these organizations, who helped bring this site to life:
The Eczema Group Hug program is possible thanks to the 2021 'Agents of Change' AD Challenge grant, awarded by HYVECrowd and sponsored by Sanofi. The 2021 'Agents of Change' AD Challenge was created to help reduce the impact of atopic dermatitis/eczema on family lives. This is exactly what Eczema Group Hug is working to do.
